Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know.
Trovido Route is a route-planning platform for numbered node networks: you click the nodes in the order of your ride and the route is computed along the network. It covers cycle routes, walks and trekking, with open data from all over the world.
Open a route, tap the numbered nodes in your desired order (start, stops, finish) and the track is computed along the shortest signed way. For a loop, click the start node again at the end; to undo, click the last node.
Exploring routes, building your ride and sharing it is free, forever. The Premium subscription (€4.99/month or €35.88/year) unlocks GPX export, the handlebar PDF and offline maps.
From OpenStreetMap (ODbL licence, always attributed) and from networks curated by local authorities. Where no signed network exists, we generate the nodes at the crossings of official routes.
Yes, with Premium: you save the map along the route and navigation works even without signal. The exported GPX works on any device or bike computer.

Cycle routes (terracotta track), walks and trekking (gold track), plus other activities such as bridleways and trail running. You will find numbered node networks (like Terra d'Arneo or the Belgian knooppunten) and official linear routes (Via Francigena, Cammino del Salento, EuroVelo). Type filters are on the Explore map.
Yes. From the planner you can build a ride and send it with "Suggest this ride": we review it and publish it among the itineraries. If you manage a network (authority, LAG, association), we digitise and publish your node network with your branding: contact us through support.
